Week Twenty-Three

The beginning of September led us to the retirement of the family bassinet. The boys were DEFINITELY outgrowing it and it was time to send it along to the next family. This is the same bassinet that hubby slept in as a baby and HIS father before him used it too.

We snagged a few more pictures for posterity. The boys were still napping in the same crib but had moved out of swaddles and into sleeper blankets.

The big event this week was Graham rolling from front to back for the first time. This was a good indication that it was time to get the boys in separate cribs and move the living room crib up into the nursery. Our temporary nursery in the living room was coming to an end. No more sleeping on the couch for night duty!

This week was also Grandparent's Day on the 12th. We celebrated by having the family over for brunch.

It was a nice little thank you for all their help in getting us to twenty-three weeks.

This day was also the first time I didn't nurse Graham all day. Ever since stopping my domperidone my milk supply was dropping so I was only nuring one baby at a time and this day I only nursed Miles. Graham had been fighting against nursing more, the milk wasn't coming out fast enough for him and he had started chomping. OUCH! He responded well when I'd unlatch him and say NO! OUCH! but since I wasn't nursing full time it was becoming not worth the effort.
